Thinking about the Roto Grip Epic
« on: July 17, 2005, 09:49:21 AM »
Looking at the picture of the ball on the Roto Grip web site...am I wrong, or does it look as though there is no filler material around the core>the cover goes all the way to the core?
Roto says the cover is the grade A material...Lane Masters says the same thing.  Based on reading reviews of the Lane Masters balls,I am thinking similar construction - similar power, similar long ball life.
Looking at the core I am reminded of MoRich and the Weapon of Mass Bias.  Remembering reviews of the WMB...the WMB is not about huge hook..it is all about carrying less than perfect pocket hits....

The Epic just might be one of the best ever produced.

I used it today and posted a performance review.  The hit is unbelievable.

I will drill another one as soon as they become available.
