Title: Has anyone thrown the new stuff yet???
Post by: slickboobie on July 19, 2004, 10:23:14 PM
One other boards here on this site people are talking about throwing the ball that have not been released to the public yet(Brun Intense Inferno) I was wondering has anyone thrown the Oracle or the Super Sonic if so what do you think, how does act compared to other balls in the current RG lineup.  Also did anyone see these ball up close in Vegas at bowl expo???

Thanks

I'm really interested in what you guys have to say about the Oracle, I have a heavy oil hole to fill in my arsenal and I bought a hammer diesel particle but I haven't drilled it yet because I didn't need over the summer.  I was thinking of selling it to get a Oracle, if you have thrown this ball let me know what you think of it.  Also I hope they review it this month in BTM.

Thanks

i like rg, but i take most the reviews here with a grain salt

they are all staff guys

they get stuff free-they wont bite the hand that feeds them

I punched out an Oracle today.
Only got a chance to throw it a couple of shots to make sure how it felt coming off the hand.
Once the centers in my area open up for the upcoming season(Aug.15 or so) I post more on this ball.
My quick opinion about the ball is it gets thru the heads fairly clean.
By the midlane its starting to rev up pretty good and makes a nice hard but controlled turn on the backend.

We'll have to wait and see how it stacks up to my other stuff.

brimar

didnt say he was staff(jeff)
ok BUD

i said the reviews are staff

look at the board(reviews)

im not bashing RG either-they ahve a fine product, just wished more people put a review besides staff guys

AND

wished once a staff guy would say the ball wasnt the greatest thing since the automobile

When you say everything is great-how do you really know when it is a good one. I realize like i said before-cant bit hand that feeds you, but you could sometimes tame the review down

For a complete and in depth discussion of what/who Jeffrevs is see the Misc - non bowling section, any thread pertaining to "Fry-day".  It's all covered in there.

9,

I had been thinking that since the commercial came out, just hadn't printed. Sorry Jeff, a day without seeing your name in the RG forum answering is like a day without sunshine. LOL

Slick as to an Oracle we have only had one guy around here pick one up. We see quite a bit of oil at one house and this ball was a good med-heavy pickup and for the most part will handle what 80% see for "heavy oil". I still put it one class under heavy oilers but thats not a bad thing as most of those balls tend to be condition specific to heavy oil alone. I agree with the statement of clean through the heads. If you see alot of oil a drill pattern that rolls or pin-down might help. I personally would stay with the hammer if you see "alot" of oil but a good step-down ball might be the oracle.
