stronger then the sonic x pearl
« on: March 26, 2005, 02:59:11 PM »
I have sonic x pearl which i love, im not very familiar with roto grip. But my question is, what would be a ball that would handle more of a medium and has some of the same characteristics as the pearl but just allot stronger

Im not sure if the ultra sonic would be enough difference but like i said im not very familiar with roto grip.

thanks

When you say a lot stronger what do you mean by that.
More backend, midlane, overall hook, earlier, etc.

I looked at what you have listed in your profile and in my opinion the Ultra would be a great choice since you like the roll of the X.
The Ultra should be right in between your Exception and X in length and overall hook.

I have a Sonic Boom, and Ultra Sonic.
The Boom is basically the same as the X just a bit more backend and a board or so stronger overall and my Ultra is about 4 boards stronger than my Boom the Ultra 4 x 3.5, 2000 polished
Boom 4.25 x 3.25, 2500 polished
You may or may not see as big a difference as I do since high RG cores work very well for me because of my style; 320rpm, 16.5mph, 45° axis rotation, and 6-10° axis tilt.

Any questions PM me.

You can also try the Apocalyspe which is a solid.

Apocalypse is a solid/pearl combo

I would say that the Super or Ultra would give you easily 3 to 5 board differences in the original Sonic X.

If that's not enough, the RS1 would be it......
