Guess the pearl version would be called Cold Cell...if the Hot Cell is a solid.

I would assume that the Hot Cell is going to come with surface OOB since the No RUles Pearl and supposedly the No Rules Exist are polished. That should mean it's a solid or hybrid cover, and with two solids already in that line a hybrid makes the most sense.

So a hybrid with surface OOB. Just don't know how strong of a cover it is though, that makes all the difference. Would be interesting to see if it's way up there and Roto Grip's version of the Gauntlet/ Inception Redux. Don't really need another mid/low range high-end ball with the No Rules Pearl and No Rules Exist (assuming what we think we know about the latter is true).

Maybe a fall release as all others were officially announced today and this wasn't?

It's a pure urethane cover without the additives and with the Nucleus core.

Crazy, but I love it. Roto Grip is swinging for the fences with this one.

Putting a urethane cover on a strong, asymmetrical core has been done before though right? Probably before my time as closely following equipment (or just being alive) but it has have been attempted. And with none of them out at the moment my guess is it didn't go well. Maybe the "new" urethane being used these days is more receptive to these kinds of cores.

Roto does have something similar as an international release I think.  The Fame/U.
Current 'go-to's:
- Badger Infused 50 x 5 x 30
- Truth Tour 70 x 4 x 70
- Black Widow Gold 35 x 5 x 30
- Eon 70 x 4 x 70

Coming soon:
Volt, Hyroad Nano, Flux

https://youtu.be/BtDi9ffpKSg Fame U. I bowled a tournament with a guy using the Fame U on the pairs before me (I followed him after each game). I'm really excited to see this ball come to the US! Also, has anyone seen the Visionary Crow in action? It's not asymmetric, but a much stronger symmetrical core compared to ehat we usually see. I think it could be a difference maker given the similar concept. The Crow would sell way more if it had a bolt or star on it.
League: Pitch Purple, Destiny Magenta
Testing: MVP
Interests: Black Widow, Proof Solid, Idol Pearl

See Hype urethane. http://123bowl.com/bowling-balls/amf/hype-black/
2.55 0.051 sanded to 4000. Tried 2, and it was stupid how much that ball flared. The first one drilled 60*4.5*30 was too much if I used it too close to the friction , and not enough if you moved in. Second one was 45*5*65 with a hole on my pap. Ball hooked at the dots no matter what.

Now, same cover on my Booyah, same layout as my first Hype, and the Booyah is infinitely better than the Hype. Core numbers on the Booyah? 2.62 0.026 and the cover is at 1000.

I don't think many people will be able to use it unless it's a "urethane" like the Blue Hammer.
