Hustle BRY Review
« on: April 16, 2024, 06:46:15 PM »
The Hustle line is one of the best values for your dollar.  The Hustle BRY is no exception to that.  If you’re looking for a ball for lower volume conditions or your new to the game this is the ball for you.  The Hustle BRY is super clean and long, then reads the dry with enough energy to carry all day.

Ball Specs:
Roto Grip Hustle B-R-Y
Cover: Reacta Gloss VTC™ Hybrid Reactive
Weight Block: Hustle™ (Symmetrical)
Color: Burgundy/Red/Yale Blue

Review:
There is NO reason to not love this line of bowling balls. They cater to literally every bowler in the world, regardless of skill level and is priced so reasonably that its worth its weight in gold. Our style: tweener, 350-375 revs, 16.5mph, layout of choice is 4x4x2 (pin is above bridge). For the seasoned veterans you can expect an extremely versatile lower end solid, something to keep transition to late in a block if you are needing to move right (even if the conditions are drying up). For the novice bowler you can expect great value in your purchase, getting a great piece of equipment for pennies over an entry level reactive bowling ball. The color options also appeal to novice bowlers who may care more about color than performance. The trusted Hustle core is in many bowling record books for a reason, it’s just that good. This ball has major shelf appeal and will look great in your bag!

Hey everyone, I'm back with another ball review, and this time it's for the Roto Grip Hustle B-R-Y Hybrid In 14 pounds this ball is wrapped in the VTC (Versatile Traction Control) Hybrid Coverstock and comes with Reacta Gloss with an RG of 2.55, Diff of .030. Depending on the Hustle B-R-Y surface, bowlers can use this on low-to-medium oil conditions. There are not many balls that can cover a variety of conditions, especially at an entry-level price point. To give a comparison the Hustle X-ray will roll just a tad more through the front of the lane compared to the Hustle B-R-Y. This two-ball release will be a nice transition when the "benchmark" balls are too early. The Solid and Hybrid will naturally be longer and more robust. BOWLER STYLE: RH - Power Stroker Rev Rate: 320 Ball Speed: 15-16 PAP: 4 7/8 right 5/8 up. #Storm #VISE #BowlersChoiceProShop #BabesAndBallsBowling #IAmBowling (coupon code HIRSCH 20% off at checkout)

Roto Grip has added a Hybrid option to their hustle line. The Hustle B/R/Y combines the proven Hustle core with VTC Hybrid. The Hustles have always been great bang for your buck balls and this one definitely fits that mold.

I tested the Hustle B/R/Y on our high volume/high ratio house pattern. I noticed right away that it was pretty responsive when trying to throw it closer to the friction. It was a little stronger than I expected which I attribute to the hybrid cover making it a little more continuous down-lane. The pearl versions of the Hustle had a tendency to get forward a little quick for me but while the B/R/Y is certainly quicker off the spont than it's solid counterparts, its definitely rounder than the Wine.  I liked this ball best as the lane began to transition as it would clear our high friction front lane panels but still had plenty of pop to get off the back-ends that hadn't completely opened up yet.

This ball is a great piece for a first time bowler who is looking to get more hook for their money.
