Title: Hustle ink vs Lights Out
Post by: vkowalski1970 on November 30, 2017, 05:58:17 PM
The Lights Out is one of my favorite balls of all time. It’s been a great light/medium oil and THS ball for me for years.  I never leave home with out it.  I’m seeing all of this hype and great videos of the Hustle Ink.  I’m wondering how they compare.
I would think similar with the Lights Out being a bit sharper on the back.

Anyone thrown both?

I definitely think they're similar. I never personally threw a Lights Out but i saw a lot used in our leagues as it was a popular ball for our higher friction lanes.

Ink might be a couple boards stronger but really not that different. I saw a senior bowler replace their Lights Out with the Ink and they like it a lot

If Luke comments on this, I would like to hear about the Match Up Hybrid vs the Lights Out. Don't mean to hijack, but I saw quite a bit of Lights Out in the Match Up Hybrid.

Lights Out and Hectic always reminded me of each other, Lights Out was stronger, but it had that really even roll.  Lol actually the Match Up Hybrid and Lights Out don't look anything alike to me, different shapes, rev different, roll different, etc.  Hyroad Pearl kind of reminds me of it, if a little too long and not quite as strong.
