Title: Hustle Ink w surface?
Post by: tloy on October 25, 2018, 12:22:25 PM
Anyone had luck with the Ink with some surface? Thinking 3rd game when shot dries out but there is some over/under... Thank you

I don't see why not.  The ball seems to be pretty versatile for me and can be used on many conditions.  It seems like one of those balls that will allow you to tune the cover to do whatever you want. Shine and it goes longer. Duller it doesn't seem to burn up.. just hooks earlier and more.

Exact experience I had with mines..... as mentioned, can be used on a variety of conditions, very predictable and consistent.

I’m using mine at 2000 grit and loving it.

I never even threw mine in box finish.  I sanded it to 500/2000 and it was money right off the press.  I love my Hustle Ink.

I put the factory Storm/Roto 4000 finish on mine and its stupid good.  In my house shot league, I am on very nice AMF synthetics with a typical 40ft wall and the Hustle INK is the perfect house shot killer.

It is WAY stronger than you would think being a HP1 ball.  I think you could have a couple of these with different surface and drilling and have everything you need for the casual recreational wall shot league.

I agree with the comparisons to the iQ Tour Solid.  It's not as early as the iQ but they are similar. I'd say same surface and drilling the INK is a few feet longer.  THis makes sense as it has a weaker cover.

In my league, when the shot transitions inside, the INK to too wild off the spot.  I need to get out my iQ Tour Pearl and control of the backend reaction.
