Title: Hustle Wine or Camo drilling question
Post by: thedjs on November 06, 2021, 03:18:08 PM
Need to get a new 11 pound ball for my wife (due to an injury) and it looks like the 11 lb. Hustle has some sort of a weight block (kinda looks like a hockey puck).  How would you drill a ball like this so that it has some back end but is still controllable?  Her speed is slow.

Thanks for the help.

Don't overthink it.

It's an 11lb ball, it's not going to be very dynamic. 12lbs is where you can get a dynamic core where layout would have some influence. Just get what color or design she likes the most

While I commend you for wanting the best for your wife; you are way overthinking this.  You are looking for an 11 pound ball to be as dynamic as a 15 pound ball and it isnt going to happen.  As I mentioned to you in another forum you posted about this same thing; I steered you towards a Puma because the cover still has some strength being GB10.7 and with her ball speed and the pearl cover; it is going to give a skid/flip type reaction.  But at the end of the day, it is 11 pounds.  What I would do is take her to a pro shop and just let her pick out a ball with her favorite color in that price point whether it is a Puma, Beast, Hustle, Electrify, or Rhino.
