Looks great. The one thing I notice on all of the hy-wire videos, all of em, not necessarily yours is, you can distinctly see the core not rev up.
I'm throwing a hyroad solid and a hyroad right now and they nearly roll identical. However I just feel the hy-wire is just skiiiiiiiiiid.
I had a disturbed and deranged and couldn't get either to read right.
What I'm really asking is I totally different how awesome the haywire rolls up...it's totally digging into the pattern, u can see it.
And I know we expect the hy-wire to skid, got it, I understand... It just doesn't give me that wow factor...could it just be the colors?

I didn't care much for the Roto video with Pickford. But this vid plus the others on YouTube show this ball has nice midlane and back-end drive. Looks much better than the Phaze IMO.

Never mind. Apparently my eyes see something else. I see a deranged all over again lol I don't see a killer improvement like the haywire is, gnome saying???????????????

Yeah, that was the first thing i thought when i say the core too. Deranged but a different color. I will pass on this. Critical though, I might have to get that one.

Deranged was a reactive pearl right? Hy-Wire is a 2 part pearl 1 part solid so a hybrid right? How can those be similar? Only similarity I see is the core. Hy wire looks to roll more and Deranged seems to be smoother then more angular on end of pattern.

It's not my favorite look . . it's basically the opposite of the Phaze. Instead of being really early and rolly, it's really long and snappy. It looks cool when you throw it perfect, but it's pretty tricky on the eyes. I keep grabbing it at the bottom because it doesn't look like it's revving up to me either. However, it flares off the planet. I have a strong "lefty" drill on it, (because all lefties are or should be the same, or so I'm told, because everything has to do with being on that side of the lane and nothing to do with the conditions or the way you throw the ball, but I digress), but if I get out of it nice and easy, for some reason I don't feel like it's going to read and finish, I feel like I really have to hit it at the bottom. It's just ridiculously clean through the fronts. If I trust it and fly out of it, it's an absolute monster, but because it allows me to throw it harder and hit it less than anything else I own, it's been hard to make that adjustment. Just like the Phaze never looks like it's going to do anything, and then you grab it a hair at the bottom and go runaway brooklyn . . I have to agree with Bill, the ball just looks like it's not going to budge and then it turns sideways. It will be a great ball for people whose games it naturally fits, but it's got length and snap that's not available in anything else on the market, so just like the Phaze, it's going to require some trust and slight adjustments.

I'd be willing to bet it's the hybrid of the deranged and the asylum. Or an asylum with factory polish. I'll probably pick it up, my deranged is a lil weak but has a unique roll. The hy-wire will be perfect.

Nah, no hijack, I actually have the same opinion you do. It's too strong off the friction for it to be in play for me very often, but boy if I can ever find a little bit of oil outside . .

I have a friend that didn't care for the Asylum and Deranged but loves the Hy-Wire. By the way, this cover is different from the Asylum.

Really good . . I've got a Hectic/Loco Solid video going up later today. To be honest I got the Hectic just for a comparison ball to the Hywire, but it's turning into one of my favorite balls, and of course the Loco Solid is a can't miss. Lol I talked Ron into one and he absolutely loves it because it reacts just like all of his old stuff.

I never had a Deranged or an Asylum, but I've seen them in action plenty and I'd also have to say there's really no comparison. The Hywire seems to me to be much closer to the Hyper Cell Skid, just more skid and more flip.

Looks to me like a ball i would take polish off of....I loved the Disturbed and Asylum...hated the deranged and Love my Haywire....but really cant read the haywire well because of color combo on my ball....doesnt look like its doing anything and then it destroys the pocket...makes me crazy....
