Post by: Luke Rosdahl on January 06, 2018, 02:03:18 PM
Had some editing nightmares, but here it is.  Fairly easy to see this one is a winner:

Nice video as always. Would the Fuse be a good compliment to my All Out Showoff?

I was thinking of getting the NRP to fill the aggressive asymmetric pearl/hybrid spot in my bag.  But this ball is giving me a Hyper Cell Skid vibe - which was my favorite ball a few years back.  Decisions, decisions...

Roto Grip Hyper FUSED – E Trax H-18 hybrid with Nucleus Core with 50 x 4 x 40
45ft THS on HPL with KEGEL iON machine with KEGEL Ice oil and Defense C conditioner.
Surface: 1500 grit with polished
Very strong ball all the way down the lane, I expected a long and angular finish like my No Rules pearl. The transition out of the roll was a little longer then I thought it would be because of it being a hybrid cover, but not skip / flip. I loved the extra length it provides me when I need something longer and stronger then my Dare Devil. Used it on SPL in a tournament where I usually have to have something like a Dare Devil with a long pin to get through the sludge of oil and what usually happens is as I bowl more, the carry down happens really quick with the SPL and I start leaving corner pins almost every shot. If I move left, it hangs and if I move right, it also hangs, as soon I started leaving the corners, I changed to the FUSED and had the best game of the day. Long and strong is the name of the game with this awesome addition to the Roto Grip HP4 line… OwnIt!!!

Any idea how the Hyper Cell Fused compares to a similarly drilled Snap Lock? My Snap Lock is about 10% stronger than a similarly drilled NRP.

Any idea how Hyper Cell Fused compares to a similarly drilled and surfaced Snap Lock? My Snap Lock is about 10% stronger all around compared to my NRP.

hallofamer,

I had a pin under snaplock, 50 x4 x75, my Fused is 70 x 4 x 75 . In my opinion the Fused is stronger.

I bowled league last night with two guys on the same team.......one with the NRP and one with the HyperCell Fused.

The Fuse is definitely longer and stronger. The NRP was remarkably consistent.
The Fuse had a rounded angular attack on the pocket, and the NRP just angular from my eyes. However, its all about the bowler's style as to which one is "better"!

Thanks J J. My NRP is also remarkably consistent, pocket magnet, but do lose carry as back ends get softer. Fused sounds like just what I'm looking for. Thanks a bunch to both responders.

I'm wondering if this eTrax-H18 is the same coverstock as the RS2 Hybrid Nano on the Drive.
