Need to get a ball for heavy oil. Torn between Sync or Hyper Cell. I am a 16 mph tweener {275ish rpm} med. axis rotation bowler. Need something to get into a heavy roll in the midlanes with a strong arcing backend. Seen some Syncs thrown, but no Hyper Cells. Any help would be appreciated.

Both are good choices but my vote would be for the Hyper Cell. I saw it thrown for the first time this past Wednesday in league and have seen the Sync thrown in league since it first came out. Both balls will definitely get into a heavy roll with a strong arc. The big difference is that the Nucleus Core in the Hyper Cell seems to retain energy better and be more continuous in the back whereas the G2 Core in the Sync can finish flat sometimes.

Hyper Cell. I've not thrown either ball, but I have seen people throw them. Like Tommyboy said, the Sync is a decent piece, but it will finish flat. The Hyper Cell sometimes too strong to finish flat. Both need oil, but I suggest you go with Hyper Cell.

For your specs I'd go hyper cell. Lower intermediate differential will play better for you. HC more conducive for THS.
I had a Sync and I have a hyper now. Both good balls with right layouts on right conditions.
