Are you asking about the 2 balls in the title of your post or in the body of your post ?

A logical 1 step down is the Sonic Boom from the Silver Streak Pearl, and the Sonic X Solid is not quite a single step down from the Boom........

You could have all 3 in your bag just fine.........

No problem........

Depends on how 'dry' your lighter conditions get, the Boom is going to move more for you and have a bigger change of direction than the Solid...the Boom will handle more oil too....

Either one will work, depends on how 'dry' your lighter conditions get....

I have the SSP, and use it as my main ball in several houses. Thanks to Roger I also have a SonicX, the origional pearl, and it is a great compliment to the SSP. Beware, the SonicX is a stronger ball than the stats indicate
