Oddyssey drill??
« on: May 12, 2007, 04:50:56 AM »

I am looking to get an Oddyssey but am curious as to what to expect from the drill I want to put on it, I am looking to put the pin just above ring and the mb 2- 2.5in right of thumb, I've never used an assymetrical ball before so what should I see from the ball drilling like this. If anyone has drilled a ball like this or better still a video a reply would be great, if not any replies will be appreciated.I've read all the reviews and seen the buddies video and this looks the best ball out there to fit where I want as a dull solid reactive thats versatile for a variety of conditions.I'm a stroker bowling about 15/16 mph.
Thanks.

Hi Dave, I bowl in Devon, so I'm quite far away from you, it was watching your video of the Oddyssey that helped me decide to give this ball a try along with all the good reports. What drill is on the ball you used cos you style is fairly close to mine from what you wrote. As I don't see a lot of really heavy oil I'm considering changing the surface to 2000 grit to make the ball a bit more versatile, what would your opinion be on this. Thanks for your help.
