Idol Pearl during league
« on: September 19, 2019, 02:12:22 PM »
Currently, during league under THS conditions I start out game one using my pin down, original Storm Soniq or my HyperCell Fused.  Is there room in the bag for an Idol Pearl, perhaps pin up say for game 2 or 3?
Current Arsenal: Storm Super Nova, Storm Absolute, 900 Global Zen Master, Storm Summit, Storm Journey, and Storm Punch Out

Yes there is. I have a Idol Pearl (pin down) which is great for medium conditions. I had a Soniq which was also pin down. For me the Idol Pearl is stronger than the Soniq. I sold the Soniq and replaced it with a Winner (pin down).
There's two kinds of music METAL and bullshit!

I was ready to punt my Idol Pearl as it was an over/under non-carry POS....

I elected to modify the surface to 500/2000/4000 and it completely transformed it to the first ball out of the bag in my wall shot league.  Carry is great, reaction smooth, and very readable.  It is not as early as the Idol solid and makes a great 1/2 combo

I had an Idol Pearl for about a year.   Almost everywhere I wanted to use it, my Honey Badger and HyRoad Nano ended up being better options.  I recently purchased a Hero.  Better option than Idol Pro, or Honey badger, especially on flatter patterns.  Nano has been really good, but Hero may be more versatile

Everyone is different so my exoerience may not match others, but For my lower speed stroker style the Hero is better than any oearl I have tried over the past several years
