Title: ILLUSION vs T-ROAD PEARL
Post by: SDSTREET on December 28, 2007, 02:16:57 AM
For those of you that have thrown both the Illusion & T-Road Pearl.
What similarities or differences have you noticed?
Does one have better read in the midlane, more continuation, versatility etc...?
All thoughts good & bad welcomed.

Thanks

Thanks abrown, your help is much appreciated. I already have 2 t-road prls and I will be drilling an illusion and you've given me some good insight.
thanks again.

I'm curious to the difference myself. I've had this discussion with a bowling pal of mine, and he was trying to tell me that if I got an Illusion drilled just like how I have my T-Road, that it would go longer and come in stronger. I thought that it would be a similar reaction, just cover a few less boards.

n00dlejester, I will post my findings after I've done some testing with them.  My initial thoughts are the same as abrown's reply.

I have the T-Road Pearl and threw the Illusion at a Storm/Roto Open House.  My T-Road Pearl is drilled pin over middle finger (right handed), 5-1/2" from PAP and the CG at 30 degrees, no weight hole.  The Illusion was drilled pin over bridge with the CG stacked below, close to grip center.  Very different drillings, but from what I saw, the T-Road Pearl is much more skid/snap.  The Illusion gave me good length with a hard arc.  Very different ball reactions.  Hope this helps some.
