Interesting wording for Mars release
« on: March 02, 2009, 04:04:03 AM »
From the Mars page on Rotogrip.com

quote:
The final addition to the best value performance line of bowling balls on the market is the Marsâ„¢.

Does this mean the end of the planet line?  I have to guess so since they've been through all the legitimate planet names except Uranus, which I seriously doubt they'll touch...

I'll be honest...I really wanted to come out with this ball.  Might get beat up about it some what, but reading threads like this is just too funny.

If this ball does come out, I'll work at a pro shop for the day, for free. Especially since I know all the customers love smelling the Storm balls.

"Ooh, what's this one, and why does it smell like shame after a long night of drinking? Possibly the left over scent of a confused young man."

"Why, that's Uranus. The ball personalizes its smell to the most recent activity that was done with yours!"

I think the Uranus would be a good ball for people like me. I tend to come up the back of it.

I love Uranus so much that I have a another one all ready after the 1st gets worn out.

I had to drill an extra hole in Uranus to make it legal.

Roger, if you decided to come out with this ball, make sure it has no pearl and has plenty of surface OOB - I would hate to hear this ball described as being "squirty".

Just make sure you get it drilled correctly. I would hate for any of you to get your thumb stuck in Uranus.

If you put your thumb in first, you'll get a cleaner release from Uranus.

First of all, has Venus, Earth or Jupiter been out yet?
I say come out with the Uranus. Most people don't pronounce it anyways since everyone makes a joke out of it. It's correctly pronounced "Yur-ein-us".

1.Instead of the olive drab Uranus, how about a clear Uranus?????
2. If you buy one, would you return it if Uranus develops a crack in it????

What does the Star Ship Enterprise and toilet paper have in common? They circle around Uranus wiping out Klingons. (Old, but still great!)

So what can we expect from this ball color wise? If it has a lot of backend, and it's grey, we'll nickname it "The Elephant".
