For the uninformed here.  I thought, I should point out that a guy in our midst here who posts infrequently and is on the RG amateur staff byt the name of Steve Richter is the 2005 ABC now USBC doubles champion with Jeff Richgels both Cheeseheads.  http://www.bowl.com/articleView.aspx?i=10674&f=4

What's wrong with Cheeseheads it's better to a Cheesehead than a FLATLANDER! If there were no Cheeseheads there would be no good BEER, BRATS, CHEESE, PACKERS, and on top of it all they are darn good bowlers to.

Dave--Since, you are from the UK......it's a person that hails from the State of Wisconsin in the US.  It's America's Dairyland.

If you ever have seen the Green Bay Packers play and see the fans in the stands you'll see some Cheeseheads worn as head gear.  

I'm sure in the UK you must have some regional names for folks from the region?
