Soon To Be Released in the US

From a very reliable source, i know that the RotoGrip Globe will be released in the US. I was told the date but i forget which month it is. It is the 27th but i dont remember if it is of July or August.

If you are wondering WHO my source is, its the #2 seller of RotoGrip balls in the Country who is Jeff Lizzo who runs the Bowlers Touch 2 Pro Shop out of West Babylon Lanes in Long Island NY.

I'm thinking this might be old news.  From everything I understand the factory that the new Globes will be manufactured out of isn't even producing balls yet.  Additionally, I would think that if the balls were going be out on the 27th of July we would have heard about it, and if they were to be out the 27th of August they would be in the new catalog (which they're not).  I don't see it this year.

Hmm...I wonder which pro shop is #1?

Maybe this is a hint at the "special" release.

If it was to release I'd assume it'd be much later in the calendar as their Expo releases have already been unveiled and Roto usually releases by the quarter.

From what I have heard I think you are mistaken.

I believe the "gimp" is on the ball.

I know Twelve In a Row was for 2004-2005, may have changed a bit now since we went to opening part time only.  Over 75% of our inventory and sales are all Roto-Grip, from balls, to bags, and accessories.  The bowlers in our area love being able to get high performance at a low cost with great service(...end of shameless plug)

We snuck past ya last year.  Funny part is two of the biggest Roto shops around are 20 miles apart.

That speaks well for both our shops and the smart people in our area who know quality and performance. (a really shameless plug)

Yes I got the files. I'm at Junior Gold right now coaching some kids so I haven't gotten to get really engrossed into them yet, but from what I have briefly seen it seems to make sense. Thanks for sending them!

Back on topic, I'm pretty sure of what the next SE ball has been narrowed down to. I am 100% that the "Globe" is not it, *BUT* the options have been mentioned within this forum!

Now that was vague enough, lets start talking about colors!

Everyone,

The Globe has no scheduled release date for 2006.  At this point we have no plans to release it, but we did.  Our newest releases the SAGA and VENUS will be available July 27th and sooner for those of you who have ties with "Star" shops.  The Spare Tire is still available and is the only polyester in our 2006-07 product catalog.  

When I have more information on the Globe release I will let you know.
