Roto Grip replacement......
« on: February 01, 2007, 05:09:22 AM »
Lost a good friend last night, my RS-X was mangled beyond repair.
Being that the RS-X has been discontinued, what would the Roto Grip
loyals recommend as a replacement.

Thanks, insidedrive.

Bowling Center is paying for a replacement....the house Pro Shop is
pro Brunswick, but I have not had good experiences with them.  He
is able to get pretty much any brand.

I the shop cannot find an RSX the ball that replaced it is the horizon solid. It is a bit stronger from what I've heard.

Horizon Solid is the ball that replaced the RSX in Roto Grip's lineup.  It's a little stronger than the RSX, but if it starts up too soon for you it can always be polished.

Buddies Pro Shop still has RS-Xs and RS-Ps for sale.  If not, I would either get a Horizon solid or wait for the new Horizon Mystic for a little more punch.  I love my RS-X and RS-P and hope I never go through what happened to you.
