Hi All,

First of all, thanks to Roger for getting this piece out to me to try out.

The new MARS from Roto-Grip uses a hybrid version of the Sure Grip II cover.  Here are a few pictures:

I went with a 4.25 x 3.75 layout (Pin is in my ring finger).  I threw this ball friday night in league, and really liked what i saw out of this ball.  The Mars allowed me to take a nice step right and play real close to the friction, yes there are plenty of balls on the market that will allow me to do this, but this ball really eliminated the over under i normally see when i try and camp out at that part of the lane.  The ball rolled consistently off the dry on misses right and sat real nice on missed shots in.

This ball will fit perfectly between the neptune and pluto and will be a great bang for your buck.  The shield line from roto grip in my opinion is now the most well rounded line up at its price point in the market.  Value, shelf appeal, and consistent performance...what more could you want?

I didn't see near enough volume for this beast so i put it away pretty quickly...once im able to throw it more, ill let you guys know what i think.

About time we get information lol. Those look good and the Mars sounds like a nice piece for control but weakness, and the Rogue Cell seems like yet another ball I'll never need due to its strength.

thanks for posting these pics, they sure are purdy . ive been waiting/hoping that roto would release a mars ball... (considering i have mars in my name xD). all we need is a video of these beauties..nudge nudge

finally a picture of both and both look great. Cant wait to see both of them in the vid.

HAHA, Mars explains why I have red pearl in my Pluto I think... I'm excited for both. Can't wait for some comparison videos with the original Cell and maybe with the Neptune and Pluto for the Mars.

The Rogue Cell looks like an X-Factor Deuce.  I have one sitting in my shop and if I wiped away the logos and printed Rogue Cell on it would be a twin.
