Given that two balls are identical how much difference in lane reaction is there going to be between the Silver Streak and silver streak pearl?

Doc,

I have the SS solid, my buddy has the pearl (which I've thrown numerous times). For me, the solid has nice length (comes 1500 polished) a nice strong midlane and explodes off of the dry.

The pearl will get a little more length, a touch cleaner thru the heads, rev JUST as hard or harder in the midlane, and explode off the dry as well.

For me, there isn't THAT much difference.  I would have to say though that overall the pearl has the bigger move on the backend!

They said it perfect!

I definitely feel that both drilled the same with the same surface will be close.  For some bowlers they have seen the Pearl rev up sooner if drilled similar because of the lane surface they are bowling on.  All in all if you set them up for the pearl to go longer and make a surface adjustment between the 2 like rev said you get a perfect 1 - 2.

Thanks,
