CHUN .. want you to know that your post is VISIBLE .. I can't help you with question .. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT DRILLING! Mustang guy usually answers fairly fast .. must be unavailable .. why don't you make use of the mail capability and send your question directly to him? That MAY help!

Chun,

Roger must have been real busy on Friday for him not to see this.  I was away also or I would have responded.  I have a Pure Fuel, and mine is drilled with a 4 inch pin to pap, and the mass bias in my track.  For me (high tracker) the balls core and cover give me good length.  I've only thrown it on 2 conditions.
One was a SHORT sport shot and the other was a med-heavy (heavy heads) house shot on primarily wood lanes..(18 ft synthetic, the rest wood).

The ball is very clean thru the heads, but at the same time has nice mid lane and great recovery.  This ball should just kill a fresh house shot right up the 7 board!!

With your low track, a 4 in pin to pap will do for you for length. Maximum control and predictable backend, I would put the mass bias on your VAL...or something like a 4x2.

Sit tight, Roger will chime in later.........

Sorry about that Chun.  Hehe I don't get much time on the weekends to come on here.  I would actually have to agree with what Jeff said.  Place the pin underneath your middle finger, this should give you a 4 1/2" pin to pap, but put the MB logo on your Vertical Axis Line.  This should get you good length and get the ball to roll strong on the backend, but not over-react.

Thanks,

Balance hole ? Depends ......on the PAP will smooth the ball out and calm the backend, off of pap will increase flare a touch but you'll have a good backend but still predicatble.  You can see it on the sheet that comes with the ball.

not drilled the ball yet..
wanna confirm if i draw it correctly...

pin below middle finger and the bridge...4 1/2 to PAP..

a 50 degree PAP to MB.....

the side weight and finger/thumb weight not over 1oz ?
in this case...does a balance hole still needed ?

I'm not sure...but I think you have to re weight it after the finger holes go in...then make the final determination.....

You should ask this specific question on the "drillings" board....
