i have a virtual energy drilled 5x3, 2 inch buffer, pin above ring, mb 1 1/2 right of thumb..just might be the best ball i have ever thrown love it...drilling a rogue thursday nite thinking about the same layout, what do you ball gurus think..............thanks

I was under the impression that these two balls were somewhat similar.
I'd recommend a bit different layout, as to not end up with overlap, Maybe a 4x4.
But if I'm mistaken about these balls being similar someone please let me know.

My rogue has a similar layout. I love the pop at the finish!

Go 2 1/2x5 on your Rogue and you will have 2 great looks. This layout is often overlooked, but has become one of my favorites. Strong midlane with less entry angle at the back. It can let you play farther right than the 5x3, and when useable, carries the world! This should complement your VE, and not be just another ball with the same reaction.

I think you meant Virtual Energy?

Both are hybrid coverstocks. Rogue is more solid than pearl and Energy is more pearl than solid. You could drill them and avoid overlap.

My Rogue out of the box was very aggressive. It was overlapping my Virtual Gravity with the same drill.
