Title: MVP surface adjustments
Post by: BeerLeague on January 31, 2020, 04:25:31 PM
Has anyone toyed with the surface?  I feel mine it’s a touch too over/under on the shots I’m on.  Thinking about 4000 abralon.  Thoughts?

For those who are curious ... I tried breaking the shine on my MVP.  I tried it at 4000 and it wasn't very good.  Removing the shine defeats the design intent of the ball, which for me is length and quicker angular recovery.  I put it back to 1500 polish and won all my brackets  :o -- GO FIGURE !

What do you mean by it wasn't very good?

You took the shine off to even out the reaction to combat the over/under. I'm assuming you lost the recovery you were use to having before or was it still too over/under?

I have used 1000 through P5000D and found cover to be very versatile and responsive to the intended purpose.
