I came across the crazy 8 for the Neptune Solid or Roto's website..?

Heres what the crazy 8 says:


Coverstock: Sure Grip IItm Pearl

Weightblock: Orbiter IItm Core

Finish: 1500 grit polished

Lane Condition: Light-Medium Oil

15lb diff: .018

RG: 2.61


My question is, if its listed as Neptune solid, what is the cover listed as Sure Grip II pearl ?

Any pics ?

Those specs sound an awful lot like the Mercury.

Same cover, same numbers.

Neptune has Orbiter II core rather than Orbiter on the Mercury.  Looks like the new weight block has a larger cap on the top rather than the bottom.  Mercury had 15lb diff of .028 so not the same numbers.

The Neptune is a pearl reactive.  Must have been listed wrong on the site, so thank\ you for the catch!  The Orbitor II core is flipped upside down which created a lower differential.  It will flare less, but most people know that the number on this ball can be deceiving.  The core is stronger than you would think and our cover on this ball will allow it to read the oil well, but still get down the lane easily before finding the breakpoint.

Roger, I thought smething was werid with one saying solid pearl and the other solid. To find where it says "Neptune Solid", try this:

Proshops tools > Crazy 8's > United States

The you will see it listed as Neptune Solid, secong one down :

Well I have a Roto grip ball (Sonic X solid)with a flare potential (diff) of .20 and let me tell you.  Since I put a weighthole 7 inches from my grip center...that little pill can flip and hit!

Impressive backend and carry.  REcently due to operator error...impressive number of strikes and (yipes) an impressive number of greek churches!
