I think the devour was ok.  Most guys I know that have it stick with the disturbed or hysteria.  The haywire is a home run.  Idk if it'd the core on rotos high end balls but I haven't liked the look of either the sinister or menace.  Both hyper cells were much better pieces.

I can give you a little taste of what each are.

Eternal Cell is a shined asymmetrical using the Nucleus core for the HP4 line. Critical is the theory core and a hybrid asymmetrical for the HP3 line. Hectic is a shined symmetrical for the HP2 line using the Late Roll 56 core (same as Devour).

Storm always has a pre-Christmas release. Roto would then have their second release of the season in early January and then Storm would have an pre-USBC tournament release in February. Roto is trying to get their second release in line with the Storm holiday release.

Asymmetric core in the HP 3 line. Hmmmmm, maybe a response to the DV8 Vandal which had been very popular.

I like the look and idea behind the Critical. But...I just got a HC Skid and it's almost too much ball for my house shot so I don't really see a need for it unfortunately

That statement made me chuckle for some reason.

It's more like, "your center puts out a weak sauce china shot, and the guy who just pushes the button actually has no clue.  That being said we polished it, you're welcome!"

Triliptic Core and the hybrid cover.  Looks like it will be similar to the Infinite Theory.   But, it will be nice to see how that core does with the new cover.

Looks like the cover is 2/3 pearl so I'm guessing it will be similar to the original Critical Theory. They probably put some solid in it to smooth the reaction some. I'm super excited for this ball!

I think part of it was because many people originally thought the Critical Theory was a hybrid because it was way stronger than the Infinite Theory and it came dull instead of shiny.
