The Grenade looks like the T- Road solid remade. Looks like the same core and same color as the TRS. If so, i'm going to love it.

One Problem with that...the Grenade is Urethane

The grenade wraps a Urethane shell around the Photon Core (Riot/Dark Star)

I still used one of the original Grenades. Matter of fact, I used it this past friday night in the travel league and had 747 with it, in a center I normally have trouble with. Cannot wait to update into the "new version".

I hope they tweek the mutant cell pearls colors to be more like the original mutant cell.. that picture shown, reminds me of the cell pearl too much.. looks are deceiving though, will have to see in person..lol..

I agree the photo from Roto makes it look real close to the cell pearl...but in person they aren't as close as you think...i added some pictures of the Mutant Cell pearl and the Cell pearl next to each other at the link above (you may have to refresh your browser).  The pictures don't do it justice, this is a really pretty ball.

The mutant Cell pearl basically looks like a rapid fire pearl with an aqua blue mixed in.

Britton, do you know how the Grenade is supposed to compare to The Natural?

They seem fairly close RG  and Diff wise and have the same surface prep.

I realize the colors are different, but even in your pictures they are fairly similar.  Should have thrown some sort of odd color in the mix, like lime green or something, lol.

I'm sure this will be another winner from Roto-Grip!  Hopefully it will match up for Big Wes like the original pearl did.  He seemed to rarely throw the Mutant Solid.  Plus now he'll now have a roto ball he can use for spares instead of the Natural.

I got my Mutant Cell Pearl a few days ago. This ball is just beastly. Long and angular, but not jumpy, continues through the rack really well. This one is gonna be a big hit methinks.
