How would a shined up No Rules compare to a Snap Lock and a Eternal Cell?
-
A No Rules with polish would still be stronger overall than the Eternal Cell. This would be due to the core strength and also having a much stronger cover. The big thing to remember is that the Eternal Cell does not have the MicroBite or MicroDNA particle additive. In that sense, you're getting more of a true medium to medium-heavy condition ball where you have a weaker cover but strong asymmetrical core. The No Rules is where you have a strong core and a strong cover for maximum traction.
Compared to the Snap Lock, the overall reaction will be closer but not exact. The No Rules with polish will get down the lane a little further but would still likely be a bit earlier and more even in motion.
All 3 balls complement each other pretty well.

I have a no rules and spun it for some polish - UFO polish too. The ball went further down lane but created some hard bite off the dry. Messengers left to Right.. kinda reminded me of a funny car warming up their tires, spinning and smoking out, then squatting and taking off like a rocket at the end of the pattern.
I polished it cause the house I bowl on is on the medium to dry side. the other house has much more oil to play with, but I won this ball from a raffle and I would never buy a high end hook monster just to only polish it. I'd rather get something built for what I face during leagues...

I think it's all about core hook shape and what's going to carry those 10 pins!
-
What conditions are you facing OP (as far as lane surface/oil length and volume)? Also, are you high/low tilt, revs etc?
-
I think the latter is 43 ft with 20 units. I am a lower rev player high axis I believe. I am more up the back of the ball. Not much side rotation. Want more of that.
-
For your style id have to recommend a cell cored ball. We KNOW it rolls well for all styles of play. The other two still have the jury out on ALL styles.
Can't trust Rudy revs ball video guy with 400 revs.

What is a cell cored ball? Curious of some examples.

Any of the Cells. Nucleus core
-
The Nucleus core is still one of my favorite cores that came out of Utah. Regardless if you have slower speed, fast speed, high revs, low revs, that core works for everyone. I always enjoyed the heavy roll and hitting power that balls in the Cell line have.

You are correct that ec I got hits like a dam truck. Unreal. I got a new rules and snap lock on order. So we shall see how they work.
