I am not sure what is going on with my No Rules Pearl. I have used it on multiple lane conditions (medium fresh, med-hvy fresh, 2nd shift leftovers), played different parts of the lanes, and tried different surfaces, and I always get the same result...a lazy move to the pocket.
When I throw the ball it seems to want to make a move (and does) but it seems like its lazy or just can't seem to get to the pocket with any authority. I make the standard adjustment for a ball not reaching the pocket (move right) and I still get the same lazy reaction (and hits in the same spot). I am trying to figure out if its the layout, surface (currently 2K), a bad match with me, or something else.
My NRP layout is pin over bridge with the MB right next to the thumbhole (part of the emblem is drilled out).
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am open to a plug n re-drill or surface adjustments. I would really like to get this ball to work.

Is it possible you are getting too much midlane because you drilled part of the mass bias out? The balls where I did that were lazy too. Try a surface change to something that will respond quicker to friction, not slow it down.

I had little luck with mine either. Drilled out a marvel pearl to replace it and love that ball on long patterns

that layout should stand up fast off friction. My guess is it's puking in the mids. I'd go 1000 and a high polish.

I will give that a try and see what happens. If that doesn't work then I will be left with 2 options: plug n redrill or add to the donation pile.

I like mine at 50 x 4.25" x 30 @2k + polish. On a THS for me personally I have to start at 4th arrow. The ball needs a sh!t ton of oil and if it doesn't get it, you'll know because it'll roll like a symmetric solid and not an asym pearl. When I keep it in the oil long enough, it has no problem smashing the pocket.

Alonzo I see you have a marvel pearl as your mid did you put the same drill on it as your NRP. I am looking for a step down from the NRP, United Revolt was just a little to lazy getting back.

Marvel Pearl is 65 x 5" x 40"
I don't usually honestly play it as a step down from the NRP. The NRP can recover from so deep that by the time I would switch to the Marvel Pearl, the cover is too strong to move back right and the ball is too smooth by nature to carry from deep. I play it more so when I'm just looking for a different shape. My NRP checks off the spot, where as the Marvel Pearl rolls off the spot more on the smooth side.
The Hy-Road Pearl, Hustle INK, & Match-Up Hybrid are better steps down. The Son!Q is quite strong, but I could see changing to it for a symmetric option with a weaker cover.

Rolled mine tonight,Big ball! Don't try to make it dance as it likes to dance on it's own. I'm sure yours is rolling out,mine did with a 2000 plus high polish by third game. First pearl I've owned that reminds me of a bull dozer. LOL

The cover on the NRP is deceivingly strong - like...REAL strong.
I have my drilled a bit tamer (pin under, MB towards my VAL), and it's smooth but very continuous. I had to change the out of box surface prep to 1000 and SUPER shiny polish. It gets down the lane better for me, and flips like a mofo.
I've used this ball on mainly medium to oily conditions (fresh house shot, loads of sport patterns).

I tried mine 2000 + polish, ball was really strong. So much so I could tell it was’nt going to be a good ball for the breakdown for me. Knocked it down to just 2000 and the ball hit like a marshmelow. So now I shined it up with a used 4k pad on the spinner
