I am looking to put a ball in my arsenal for when the lanes break down. What I am thinking of getting is the Wreck Em. I was also looking at the DDD and the All Out Show Off. Luke informed me the the AOSO may not have the oomph to turn the corner, but the DDD may be the answer? Then the Wreck em came to me. For those who have the Wreck em, when does it come into play. I don't really want a skid flip type reaction, I like a smoother, arch type roll. I am not sure if this may be the best choice, but may be coming up to be discontinued and I could get it for a great price. Let me know what you think?

The Wreck Em is more skid flip, the Hectic is/was Roto's ball that is smoother
-
Pick up a global x2 and polish it
-
Fan of the No Rules Pearl, big fan. Been able to use it on THS for three games straight, but I am a lefty, so, not a lot of traffic out where I'm at.

Like way more skid-flip. The Wreck-Em is a beast off the friction.
-
Easily the Hy-Road Pearl.

I have the Intense, NRP will be to strong

Easily the Hy-Road Pearl.
Hmm, maybe?

Before a decision can be made on what ball to switch to, what conditions are you playing on to begin with?
And what ball are you looking to ball-down FROM? I assume you are looking to stay in the Storm/Roto-Grip family.
-
THS --- ball down from either the Intense or Code Red --- lately by game 3 the back ends are really moving. Moving left works somewhat.
-
Easily the Hy-Road Pearl.
Was going to recommend that as I know more from the Storm line than Roto. If you want something less angular maybe even the original Hy-Road. When in doubt on THS tend to recommend one of the Hy-Roads. My security blanket ball and one nearly every bowler should have in their arsenal IMO.
-
Not mentioned, but the Hustle Ink is a great late game ball with a very smooth motion on the backend. A weaker !Q Tour with lots of control.
Can’t wait to receive mines for the 3rd game ball.

The Tag Cannon by Motiv has been my go to med to dry lane ball lately. Ball glides down the lane and makes a left turn. Never hooks early no matter how burnt the heads become. Carry has been great with my Tag Cannon.

thanks, but I am staying with the Storm family

I use my Storm Punch Out, 2.57 rg/0.037 diff as my 3rd game or dry lane ball. It’s working well as you get a lot bang for the buck on Storm’s lower end balls in the “Hot†line. Currently, Storm has a similar ball in the “Hot†line, the Match Up Pearl. The Wreck ‘em has a similar rg but a little higher diff. which I think may work for you as a 3rd game ball.

If I was looking for a med lite oil ball in the Storm line up I would opt for the the match up hybrid and drill it with a large VAL.
-
Tough one to answer without really knowing your house situation and how the oil truly is for your third game. Just because a ball works for the third game in one persons house doesn't mean it will fit the bill in your center.
For example, where I bowl, the Wreck Em is a ball most people start out with. I wouldn't consider that a third game ball where I bowl. But it may work fine for you if you have more oil to start the night and can ball down to it.
I would say third ball games I see a lot in my area from RG or Storm are the Hustle Ink, Hectic if you can find one or look at the Match Ups. However if where you are, the Wreck Em is an option, it is a great ball.
