Title: problem with no rules exist
Post by: TeeP Nade on January 28, 2018, 10:31:42 AM
as you can tell by my title, im not very happy with my no rules exist. Out of box, it didnt move/ hit as hard as i was expecting. i noticed it seems to "stand up" and roll out. so i changed surface to 4k. Still wasnt getting the motion i was expecting .not much at all. still  not well drive.Never finished through the pocket. always hit and deflected :( so i figured ok, condition specific it's an hp4 ball, so it should be usefull on lots of units of oil, nope, now it just didnt move at all on long and  heavy(cant remember name on the pattern) layout is 4.5 pin to pap idc exact angles, but it puts it pin above bridge. is there anything i can do to get more of a motion to this ball? a weighthole perhaps although id assume its a high hole to get it to flare less and less burn up energy? ive tried 1k, 3k, 4k, 1k polish, 3k polish, so i dont think surface change is answer. pnr to make it read lane earlier maybe? or should i try it on short heavy shot?

The exist is a niche ball. It's much smoother and not a ball that's great on long patterns for everyone because of it.

so probable just not the right ball for me. guess it just dont match up well. anything u can think of that'll make it atleast drive through the pins better? lol if i can get it to do that, i can work with it

Honestly, if you've tried all those surface options on the different patterns, then it's a match up issue.  You could try it on a short pattern like Cheetah.  Sometimes the "big" balls on the shorter patterns create good consistent angles from the outside.  You could experiment with weight holes as a last ditch effort.  Talk to your PSO.

i think im on last ditch effort lol would a pin up or pin down hole be better?

I really don't want to replace your PSO in this process and I can't see you bowl to judge truly what's happening.  But if anything, I'd personally try P3 or P4 holes to make it "stronger" since you said even on heavy oil, it doesn't go.

It should also have the same core in all weights for those who can not handle a heavier weight
