Title: Pure Fuel comparison?
Post by: loose5682 on June 19, 2003, 09:56:50 AM
Mr. Noordhoek,

I was simply wondering if the upcoming Pure Fuel could be compared to any of the balls that are currently available on the market.  Ever since I threw (and wore out) my Ebonite Afterburner and now currently the Track EMB XF I have loved the reaction I get out of particle pearl equipment.  If I remember correctly the Pure Fuel is supposed to be a particle pearl, and I was curious as to how it stands up compared to the other particle pearls.

I've been itching to throw something Roto-Grip and i'm thinking the Pure Fuel will be it, but I just wanna make sure it's going to be worth the investment.

Thank you for your time

Sir,

If you are going to be trying Roto Grip for the first time this would definitely be the one to go with!  This is going to be a very agressive backend ball, but not to jumpy.  This has a stronger cover than our last pearl particle (Assault Pearl).  We modified the original Fuel core and created a much stronger asymmetrical core giving the MB a stronger differential as everyone puts it.  Same great hitting power from the original Fuels that definitely goes unmatched by any other balls I have seen thrown (hitting power).  Good for medium oil or when you are getting a little over under from your Silver Streak Pearl.  This will come off the spot harder and you can get deeper with this.

Thanks,

Thank you both for your very informative reply, from the information given, it looks like i'm definitely going to go with the Pure Fuel.  I had been considering the X Factor RE-Loaded, the Eraser Particle Pearl, and the Thrash, but it looks like i'm going to go with the Pure Fuel.  Once I get the ball (probably in about a month or two) I will post again to let you know of my (hopefully) successes with it...again, thanks.
