So my Critical Theory just up and cracked. No extreme temperatures or anything at all to influence damage. I've only had it for about a year.
-
Man, that really sucks. And NIB ones don't come cheap. You can probably get close with the Defiant Soul though.
-
RIP Critical....
I know the feeling.....not with that specific ball, but with a couple that could not be replaced easily.
Sorry for your loss. :(

Warranty ?

Yes, contact Rotogrip . They are great to deal with!!!!!
-
Do you think they are open to a replacement with something that is currently out?
-
Let us know how it goes!

Hey sorry to hear about your critical man! Hopefully Roto comes through and gives you a new replacement critical but odds are they will try to give you something currently on the market instead. If you want another critical I have a single drill I'd be willing to part with. PM me if you are interested. Good Luck with everything and keep us posted.

I talked to the guys at my pro sho today. They said I have to bring it in next week so they can look at it and then inform their distributors. I should be good considering I never plugged it.

I agree - I have 2 Souls and that would be choice I would go with, awesome ball!
-
The Soul is that close? I like the Soul more than the CT ( teammate's soul). I figured I should look for ssomething strong but more in the mid and great continuation. Between the Soul, Disturbed, and Asylum.
-
IMO the C/T goes longer and snaps harder, the Soul starts up a little sooner.
-
If you throw 15, there are some Critical Theory balls on ebay right now.

Metal_rules is correct about the difference with the Soul and CT. Soul will definitely be a little sooner, but will be close. It could be an option to go to in case they try to push you in that direction.
Another option is that you could potentially go with is the Byte. That pearl is known to flip pretty hard on the back.
Either way, the CT is easily one of the better pearl balls that has come out IMO. Good luck with getting that taken care of.

Don't be afraid to pop holes in a Lucid either. Sanded pearl cover that is aggressive in oil. I didn't own a CT, but heard a lot of people compare the Lucid to it in roll and shape.
-
The Lucid is retired and a storm ball. My replacement would need to be in the Roto Grip family. But thanks for the suggestion. I think the Lucid is fantastic.
