Rising star

How does the Rising Star compare to the Dark Star? I am thinking about picking up a Dark Star, but since they are discontinuing it I might pick up a Rising Star. Does anyone have both of them, that can tell me how they compare? Thanks

They are fairly similar but the rising star is fair bit stronger. From what I have seen most of that added strength is on the backend. I do not own both but I do know a few guys who do and have seen them compared. They are both fantastic balls but it seems you should look for about 3-5 more boards of backend out of the rising star it is sneaky strong.
