Rogue Cell vs Generation 1 Cell
« on: June 06, 2012, 05:41:06 PM »
If you had to compare both balls what words would you use?  I have both now but havent used the Rogue and my Gen 1 Cell is really used for straighter and tighter shots for me..  It doesnt move that many board either because of my ball speed or it might have 2 much oil....

Just trying to get the charactor of this ball...

How about compare it with the Storm Invasion vs Rogue Cell...

The original cell was a beast of a ball. Strong but gave the avg bowler length and versatility. The rogue cell is a bit smoother on the back and earlier up front. The invasion is stronger than both. More midlane read, starting up sooner, and more over all hook. Hope that helps.

I thought that the Rouge was in between the Cell and the Pearl.  Rouge with a touch more length than the original with more backend.

I had the original Cell, and have the Rogue Cell and Cell Pearl.  The original Cell was a monster for me from about 30 ft to the headpin, had no quit.  By comparison, the RC starts a bit later (pearl part of coverstock) and has a quick angular move..overall pretty close to the original Cell. IMO, as far as midlane, Cell>RC>CP.  As far as pure backend, RC>CP>Cell.  All three are beasts in their own right.
Stop being the problem, and start being part of the solution

The Rogue is a little earlier but still has a ton of backend and is more angular.  It's a great ball, hands down.  I love throwing mine.

My Rogue was about 3-5 boards more overall compared to the Cell. That was pretty much all in the backend for me. They had similar drillings and about the same length. It was all about the snap of the rogue. They were very different for me.
