Just got an email from Bowling.com. These are now available for sale (pro pin and pro CG only apparently).
I've never heard of it before, apparently it was only available for use on Tour?

Dont go by specs this ball needs medium-heavy oil to even work correctly, stronger than you think it would be.

I'm curious about the 'pro CG'. I understand that the pro-pin balls have pins over 5", but how are the pro CG balls set up ?
-
PRO CG, i believe, means when the CG is more than a couple of inches off the Pin-MB line..

Pro-CG is lined up left of Pin to MB line. Designed for more options in drilling. Many pro-cg balls don't need a balance hole.

Just to clarify. Cg could be left OR right out of line. If you do order, you definately have to make sure what side the cg is on!!

Good point, I guess you would have to specify which. I'm a righty & the cg would be more to my palm w/a layout w/pin & mb right of my ring. The weird thing is, bowlingball.com never asked me if I was L or R when I ordered my X-Factor Perfecta Pro-Cg & I never specified it.

Monster Pike be thankful cause if the cg was the opposite you might have needed one big a-- weight hole for some of the more exotic drill layouts!!!!!

Exotic? Heck, even some standard layouts if the CG is to the right of the pin-MB line for a righty. If you ordered a pro-CG ball and didn't specify left or right, you simply got lucky.
