Alot of Ten Pins
« on: March 16, 2017, 03:44:10 PM »
My buddy has a No Rules Pearl drilled 4 x 4 x 1.  Leaves a lot of ten pins til about halfway thru the night.  Is the ball rolling too soon and has no energy left when it gets to the pins?  Looks like its hitting the pocket flat.  Would a 5 x 4 x 3 layout worked out better?

If the No Rules Pearl starts carrying tens halfway through the night then it's probably not an issue of the ball rolling too early. More likely there's a bit too much volume on the fresh and the ball is too clean down the lane with too late of a move. Adding surface would likely fix the issue, but then after the fresh breaks down a bit it might not work as well as it does now. Combating the issue kind of depends on what else is in the arsenal.

He has an eternal cell and a. Lock.  Thought about telling him to get a code black for the start of the night.

It sounds like they need something less angular that blends the fresh pattern better
