Review:
The Exotic Gem is the newest ball in the HP4 line and a great complement to the Gem. This ball is going to be good on heavy oil and great for when the Gem starts to burn up too much. The MicroTrax pearl is an earlier and rounder pearl coverstock and allows you get more length compared to the solid and also more pop on the back end. This will be a close replacement to the Altered Reality just a little earlier and smoother. The Exotic Gem will be a good number two ball under your heavy solid pieces in your bag or a great one ball for higher rev bowlers or if you add some surface. The all new exotic gem is the newest asymmetrical pearl that roto grip has made, and let me tell you this ball has some pop down lane. The exotic gem has Defiant LRG Core wrapped micro trax pearl cover finished with reacta gloss. This ball is everything you would need out of a big asymmetrical pearl being able to read the lane and still have enougRead more about review stating Exotic Gem!h down lane to drive through the pins. If you're looking for a great looking ball that you can throw all over the lane and strike, the exotic gem is the ball for you. Get to your local pro shop and get one of these, and you wont be disappointed

Roto Grip Exotic Gem
Layout: 4.5 x 4 x 2 Storm Pin Buffer Layout
Rev Rate: 325 rpm, 7 degree of axis tilt, 40 degree of axis rotation
Testing information: 41 foot THS (medium to light volume)
Bowling Center: Fulton Bowling Center
Kegel Machine – Brunswick Anvilane

The Roto Grip Exotic Gem combines the Defiant LRG Core and MicroTrax pearl cover.  We tested with the factory Reacta Gloss finish.  I am going to change it to a 4000 grit over a 500 grit like on the Infinite Physix.  The Exotic had some Altered Reality vibes to it.  The Exotic will be a step down from the Gem when it starts to burn up early.
