Horizon vs. Ilusion
« on: December 13, 2007, 01:28:38 AM »
Can anyone give an idea of the differences between these two balls?

What would make me want to pick up an Illusion, over a the pearlized Horizon?

Just curious.

For one, the Illusion has a much stronger cover.  With the Higher RG and lowered diff, the stronger cover really shows it's hooking potential off of the spot in the backend.  These seem like they have similar construction but these two balls are two different monsters.  The Illusion is the strongest pearl off of the spot I've thrown in a very long time.  It pushes much cleaner than a Horizon, but the recovery down the lane calls for a 3-1 move left for me from the same area as a Horizon.

Thanks DP3.

You're on the case, as usual!
