Shatter vs. Bandit
« on: November 04, 2012, 06:26:30 PM »
I was just looking at the BTM reviews for the Shatter and Bandit and they have the Shatter being longer and with more backend AND total hook than the Bandit.

Do you guys see it like that too?

Roto Grip has the Shatter being weaker than the Bandit... but BTM seems to say the opposite.

Personally, I would think that the Bandit has a slightly stronger pearl cover/stronger core than the Shatter.  That being said, the Neutron Core with the covers that have been used on it have been a hell of a lot stronger than advertised.  That's probably why RG had to come out with the HP1 line because HP2 and HP3 were way too similar in reaction shape and boards covered.

The Shatter is really not that much weaker than the Bandit.  In fact, a person could drill a Shatter and probably get the same type of coverage on the lane if their speed/revs allow that.
