The original Show-off with the Micro DNA cover just works for me. The ball is super versatile for me and hooks and works on just about everything. Is there a current ball that has a similar cover and performance? Roto or Storm? I tend to do better with symmetrical cores.

Weaker drill on an Idol or the MVP Attitude are your best bets.

I agree. Idol or maybe Axiom. Granted the Rg is lower and diff is higher on both of these but I love my Axiom.

The MVP Attitude might be the best bet but it's not a perfect fit. Both the cover and core are a little weaker, although the core shapes are nearly identical. Conceptually an All-Road should fit but I think it lopes too much off the spot to be comparable.
I have a Show Off and it's fairly situational for me. Needs oil up and down the lane. Looks really, really good when the conditions are right though. I'm definitely ahead with money made compared to money spent on the ball.
One thing I've found out is it does not like polish. Tried that to make it a little more usable with less oil and... no.

The closest I can think of would be the Wild Streak but still not quite the same (2.60/.048 in 15lbs, cover is "Roto's version of Phase 2 cover"). The Show Off was a unique combination

I have an idol and it is a ton smoother and earlier than my show off. My show off isn't as dull though . Decent amount of lane shine on it. I usually adjust my covers but I don't want to mess up what I have with the show off.. My show off makes moves where nothing else I have will, and has angle. I have an axiom and phaze ii new in the box.. I'll have to check out the MVP attitude..
