I'm getting a Silver Streak SE. How strong is this ball? I keep hearing how sleeper strong it is. How would you compare it to a Horizon Pearl? I love the read and control I get out of my HP.
After consulting my man DP3, I'm leaning towards an old favorite. Pin 6" below middle finger with a rev leverage hole. This would be a step down from the HP when the HP is too much in the midlane but still smooth downlane. My other option is more like 5.5" above the fingers as a horizontal compliment when the HP isn't enough downlane.
TIA

Ironically, I'm finding the opposite (keep in mind this is the 16lb SSSE with lower diff). Not knowing how strong the SSSE cover is, I played it safe by going a 1/2" further pin to PAP distance. My Horizon Pearl is 4.5 and the SSSE 5". Worked out perfectly. The Horizon is much stronger in the midlane and is about 3 boards stronger overall. They've been complimenting well since I drilled up the SSSE. Horizon early when there's more oil overall and downlane. Switch off the SSSE when I need more length and more downlane reaction.
I really love the roll of the SSSE. It flares a lot for being only a .040 diff. The cover is also not squirty which I like.
