Hyper Cell Skid vs. Mutant Cell Pearl
« on: May 01, 2015, 03:58:10 AM »
Right now I'm throwing a Mutant Cell Pearl with a drilling that gives it a strong read in the midlane with a mountain of hit at the back. If I were to pull the trigger and get a HCS, would I see more of the same? Or just more overall? Trying to make a decision on this one is kinda difficult.

And how would a Sinister compare in this overall? I like the way the core looks, but haven't watched anyone throw any of the above to know what the rocks do.
In the Bag:
Seismic Evo Hybrid
Seismic Evo Pearl
Seismic LynX
Seismic Axion

Hyper Cell Skid is very similar to the Mutant Cell Pearl.  HCS is probably a bit earlier read but not noticeably.  I'd consider it basically a replacement ball.

Sinister is much smoother than either with earlier read and a less violent reaction in the dry.

Mutant Cell has a modified Nucleus core (Nucleus II) which has a higher RG and lower diff than the Hyper Cell Skid, and all others in the Cell line that uses the original Nucleus core.

If you notice the logo on all Mutant Cells, the weight block logo is skewed to look italicized... different core = different ball motion.

Ever seen one of these?  ;D
