Thinking about a Cell Pearl
« on: November 17, 2008, 12:14:17 PM »
I am a high rev, high speed lefty, I bowl on a medium -heavy THS, its a top hat, I want something thats going to give me length and will recover on the backend but I dont want a crazy snap on the back or over reaction on the backend. So I was thinking about getting a Cell Pearl and bringing the cover up to either 4000 abralon or 4000 polished. What does everyone think? I have never thrown Roto grip, this will be my first one if I decide to get it.

My current arsenal is:
Complete NV (stacked)
Total NV (stacked same drill as complete)
Playmaker (stacked)
Razyr (soon for dry)

I love mine I kept it at box finish put pin up high above the ring and mb in the thumb and it does just what you are asking for.

The Pearl will work great for you. You don't need to change the surface. Even though it is pearl it has a very smooth reaction thanks to the gigantic core in the middle. This will be the perfect ball for what you are looking for. I would recommend going with a higher pin placement just make sure you don't get too far away from your pap otherwise it will get flippy.
