streak solid drill question
« on: December 19, 2003, 09:39:44 PM »
got a used ss solid.  moved the thumb a little and kept the drill pattern.  too flippy at first took a mild scotch brite to take polish off to a sheen, and WOW.

the ball is a frickin monster.  been struggling, have had 3 straight 700's at two differnet houses.

the drill pattern:  I am a low tracker but not a spinner.  slow speed med revs.

pin straight under bridge, cg kicked way out from middle of grip span straight to the right.  so the cg is about 90 deg in relation to the pin.  small wt hole on pap.  the ball clears heads then starts a strng roll and a very hard arc.  the ball obliterates the pins.

what is this drill called?  I love it.
