I'd definitely say that isn't normal - I just looked at mine and I've got about 3/8s of an inch.

How much topweight do you have?  Seems as if the core was shifted up a ton in the molding process.

Thanks for the replies guys

I bought the ball as a blem with 5.06 oz of TW.

If thats the reason the cover is so thin and filler in my finger, weight & thumb holes is crumbling, then I will NEVER buy a blem or a 2nd again.

Theres also little holes in the filler through-out the filler in all the holes ?...

If its a blem, that could be why the cover is so thin.. I personally never buy blems as you never know what issues you will have with the ball.. Its not that big of savings either and not worth the few bucks you save IMO..

I hope you get the issue resolved..

JK...I'm learning that now

This is pretty much the money I paid for the ball and $40 to drill it down the drain !?

I'm speechless..I feel sick

Don't get sick... maybe you can call RG and ask them about it. Like I said, not sure they will do anything since its a blem. Have you tried contacting the seller you bought it from and he could help you out?

Yeah I messaged the seller, just waiting from him to return the message.

Was thinking about call RG, but I'm gonna wait and see what the seller says then go from there.

I had the ball drilled Tuesday and through it today for the first time..(4) games later:

Hopefully, somehow, it'll work out for you because I'd like to see more people throwing this ball because it's awesome.
