He'd better win since he's the only thing I have going in the fantasy bowling contest!

Being from my hometown of Queens, NY, I always root for Tommy (even though he throws those crummy Roto-Gripless balls... j/k!).

Wow, Delutz finished somewhere like 7th on the points list last year.  That means 5 or 6 of the best bowlers from last year didn't make the cut:

WRW
Barnes
Duke (didn't enter this week, right?)
Voss
Weisman

And what the heck is up with Parker???  Couch, Ricky Ward, Scroggins, Hayden and PA are all in the top 10 qualifiers, and Parker couldn't make the 1st cut???

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack your thread there, NoRevs!

Tommy has bowled very well every week. Maybe it's his turn. By the way, I didn't see Mack's name on there anywhere. Is he not bowling every stop on tour?

I'm a little confused as to the reasoning here, since I thought if you cashed (which Tim did last week) in a national tour stop, you were automatically eligible for future events, but apparently he needed another house spot, and they were all taken.

So no, Mack is not bowling this week.

thanks for the info. So he will need a house spot for every stop? I didn't know it worked like that.

Hey Jeff,

Since Flushing is in Queens, if you were in Flushing, you were also in Queens.  These damn hillbillies from Michigan, what the heck are ya gonna do with 'em?

What the hell were you doing in Flushing?  In case you didn't notice, baseball season is over, so no reason to go to Shea.  Tommy is presently in your home state of MI, so if you were trying to locate someone who actually knows how to use dem dere Roto-gripless balls, you shoulda stayed home!

Tommy lost in 7 to some nobody.  Man, that sucks!

Seadrive,
WHATEVER ! I landed at LaGuardia, drove thru Flushing over to Rego Park....all in Queens...how the hell am I supposed to figure out the burroughs!!  We'll just see how easy it is when you come to Michigan and figure out all of our Mile Rds.......5 Mile, 6 Mile, all the way up to 30 something I think.....that's for the hillbillies....the north-east side ! Right Shiv, 1fife ......

I was in Queens on business, and yes I know where the tournament is this weekend.  My wifes aunt lives right next to Grand Rapids.....

Being the top seed seems to be the jinx this season...maybe being the proverbial scrub is the ticket- come in and shoot for the 32nd spot?

As to the figuring out allthe x-Mile Rd. stuff...all I got to say is WERD  Been there, dealt with it...

I was also raised in Queens.
Scroggins has been on some roll. That lefty down and in shot is pretty consistent. I hope Angelo wins. He's the only one left from my fantasy league picks.

Jeff, I live on the eastern end of Long Island, so the farther east you come, the better.  Anywhere on LI is better than Queens for me.

Let me know when you're coming, and if you'll have any extra time on your hands.  Maybe you can throw a ball and a pair of shoes in your extra-large suitcase.

WHATEVER!

Well Tommy works at the pro shop at Whitestone Lanes in Flushing, Queens 5 minutes from where I live.  Stop by and see him in the off season.
