Torrent vs Show Off
« on: July 02, 2017, 05:41:09 AM »
Both the Torrent and the Show Off have solid covers, higher RG numbers and lower differential numbers.  Does anyone have knowledge or insight into how similar they might be?

Show Off isn't even out yet but I would assume its the replacement for the Haywire, that should give you an idea of whats out that you can compare the Torrent to. From my experience, the Torrent is extremely smooth and puts me in the mind of a bigger IQ Tour. The Show Off, having a much stronger cover should create a good deal of separation from the Torrent. Do you have a Torrent already?

This invitation I also sew out of these 2. Clearly the Show Off is several boards stronger, while handling more oil.

Haywire was 2.50 and. 043.  Torrent and Show Off are both significantly higher RG than the Haywire at 2.56 and 2.55 along with a little higher diff at .044 and .045.

The Torrent, both I've drilled, are very reminiscent of the Rocket Ship (of course, same cover and almost same block).  It provides a little more motion downlane than the IQ Tour but same board coverage.
