Totally confused about the Grand Illusion
« on: July 17, 2008, 02:14:46 PM »
Everything ive heard/read about the GA is that it fits right under the cell nicely.

After looking into it & thinkiing about preordering the GA, i see that its reccomended for medium to light oil.  How is this ball supposed to fit right under a heavy oil ball, if its made for med/light oil?

Anyone with answers?

I read the marketing copy for the ball which was written by Hank.  It is truly a medium oil ball and probably will be adjusted shortly so it says medium volume and not medium to light volume.  We obviously don't want to confuse anyone, but as most have stated you just have to review many different areas where we offer content on this ball.  As we all know medium oil balls are the most versatile because depending on the player style and layout you can make this ball work on heavier and lighter patterns as well by adjusting your feet.

As Steven Richter stated the information has this listed as Ultimate Vision coverstock, but it has been tweaked to be closer to the Cell cover matrix.  What we accomplished with the Cytoplasmic cover was in the process (formula).  The covers on the Cell and Grand Illusion are different covers, but as Steve stated the cover matrix (or formula for oil absorbtion vs. friction) are the same.
