Title: Totally Defiant or IQ Fusion
Post by: Blueprint on February 17, 2014, 08:49:59 AM
I'm looking to get a ball that I can step up to if my Uproar is isn't quite turning the corner. Which would be the better option between the Totally Defiant and IQ Fusion?

So I should be able to go Asylum, Fusion, Uproar if needed? Also is the Fusion just as strong in oil as the totally defiant would be?

If you have asylum already id go to zero gravity

From time to time my Asylum may be too much and my uproar may not be enough, so I was hoping to solve that problem with the Fusion or totally defiant. Seems like the zero gravity would be a step up from the Asylum.

ah.....I dont think either ball....Totally Defiant or Fusion will fit in there....I think the fusion maybe a lot cleaner upfront than the asylum due to the covers finish but as strong over all....I wasnt a fan of the Totally Defiant it was very over/under even with polish knocked off.
I would probably knock the polish off the uproar and see if that fixes the gap...Im using a Lights Out(pin down60VAL angle at 4000) below my Asylum.

Ok, I didn't know the Fusion was that strong. I like how my Uproar performs oob and once the lanes get right for it, it's money. So let me rephrase my question... If the Asylum is burning up and I need something to give me more length with a stronger finish, I could switch to the IQ Fusion (same layout as Asylum) and get the longer reaction that I'm looking for? Then step down from the IQ Fusion to the Uproar (Same layout as Asylum and Fusion) if needed?

Sounds like you want the Fusion. Buy it and drill it different than asylum.  It will be cleaner naturally do to cover finish. Drill it with a longer pin to pap to help get further down lane

Understood.... One more question.... So the Fusion is definitly stronger than the Uproar, correct?

The Fusion is most definitely a stronger ball than the Uproar.

Without a doubt stronger than uproar. It's as strong as asylum with a different motion

Sounds good... My plan is to drill the Fusion up this week and see how it goes. Thanks!

You should go with a Berserk, or Defiant Edge-- because I have 2 of them to sell.
